Delete your information

Under POPIA you may ask us to delete personal information we hold about you. Email privacy@pestcontrolfinder.co.za with the subject "Delete my information", or phone +27 81 644 5525. Tell us the phone number or email address the information is about, and for a listing, the business name and registration number.

What we hold, and what deleting it means

• If you visited the site: we hold nothing that identifies you. Taps on contact buttons are stored without your IP address, and your location stays in your own browser: clear this site's data in your browser settings to remove it.
• If your business is listed: we take the listing down.
• If you sent us a request on the List your business page: we delete it.
• If you messaged us on WhatsApp or received WhatsApp messages from us: we delete your number and the messages stored on our systems. Copies held by WhatsApp itself are Meta's, and you can remove them in WhatsApp.

What happens next

• We may ask you to show that the information is yours, for example by replying from the email address or phone number on the listing.
• We delete it within 30 days and tell you when it is done.
• If the law requires us to keep something, such as a record of a payment, we keep only that and tell you so.
