How to check a pest control company
- 1 Ask for the operator's Pest Control Operator (PCO) registration number — operators are registered with the Department of Agriculture under Act 36 of 1947.
- 2 Check whether the company is a SAPCA member on the SAPCA member search.
- 3 For a beetle certificate, check the inspector is on SAPCA's list of wood borer inspectors.
- 4 Ask which products will be used and for the safety information on them.
